In plain English: I want MooLabyte to work for everyone, including people who use assistive technology. Here’s where I stand and what I’m still improving.
My goal
I aim to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA.
What’s in place
- Colour contrast: I’ve measured my palette; body text (dark ink on cream) far exceeds AA (about 17.7:1), and I use only combinations that pass.
- Motion: all animation is CSS-only and respects your “reduce motion” setting — if you’ve asked your device to reduce motion, animations are turned off.
- Fonts: self-hosted and readable, with a comfortable line length and line height.
- Keyboard: the site is navigable by keyboard.
- Structure: clear headings, alt text on meaningful images, and descriptive links.
Still in progress
I’m one person and improving as I go — I’m auditing older images for alt text and re-checking focus styles and forms. If you hit a barrier, please tell me at [email protected] and I’ll fix it as a priority.
